datek is right around e-trade.

before the past couple weeks, i actually recommended e-trade OVER datek, because although there were problems with e-trade, they were lesser problems than datek's "can't trade for a while at a time".

needless to say, that's changed. stay away from both if you're aggressively trading.

Harry:

If you speak with the right people at Etrade, they will hook you up. Contact customer service and if they do not help you ask to speak to someone above them. If you have to, go all the way to the director of customer service.

Again, I promise you that if you speak with the right people they will fix your problem. I am happy with Etrade now as we understand each other and I am a Platinum user again. Believe me they want to fix their problems and will help you. The problem is they have added so many people in a short period of time that many of the service reps. are not up to speed yet. If you get someone like that, just ask to speak with their trainer or someone above them.
