<<WR: I note in the "Partners' Profiles" that Maxon is based in Puerto Rico with offices in Latin America. TAVA has a large utility contract in Puerto Rico, and reports of TAVA activity in Latin America are increasing. Looks like you found another one of TAVA's hot connections. >>

Karl: I just came back from a trip to South America and can tell you that TAVA is everywhere. Their contract in Puerto Rico is with (PREPA) Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority. In Mexico they are working with Warner Lambert among others. In Argentina with Nestle and several manufacturing cos.
Latin America is at least six months to a year behind the U.S. and TAVA will be busy there a long time past January 1, 2000.
The partnership with UNISYS is helping them quite a bit because UNISYS is very big in S.A.
Their original representatives were mainly small engineering companies that didn't have the staff to promote their Y2K product and didn't understand its potential.
I put several of my customers in touch with them about six months ago and some got frustrated at how slow their reps were moving.
UNISYS has a big sales force down there.
