Tony,

FYI.

I hung tough with IMON & SATH. I plan to hang tough if they run up ENMD.

Anthony, Thanks for the link to beartracker.com. [corrected]

Here's one person's opinion on a chat board I found there... What do you think?

I posted yesterday that we would see a rally today and possibly tomorrow as the Clinton acquittal becomes official. I noted that the big players wanted to get that last bit of cash back in before the weekend. I noted that an amateur "syndicate" had started picking up CISCO at seemingly "bargain" prices. Unfortunately I had no idea of how big a rally it would be and incurred my largest one day loss since the Crash of '87. On Tuesday I had my largest single day gain.

NASDAQ reported its largest single point gain today. Another gain like that tomorrow, and it will be in record territory again. As there is severe resistance at NASDAQ 2500, this market can't go much further. To me, the strength of the "Clinton acquittal rally" was simply a case of the Bull buying pure air. With the Bulls back in for one more "sure-thing", the stage is perfectly set for a huge decline after the long three day weekend.

Many of the smart investors will start dumping shares throughout the day tomorrow,
but they may try to limit the downside to keep the BORG aboard for the three day weekend. They have a little surprise for them.

As I see it, the big action will start on Sunday Night. That's when the BEARS will launch an attack against Hong Kong, Japan and the rest of Asia. They will then attack Europe and Latin America. The US investor will be completely frozen out during the first day of the attack. The BEARs will continue the attack on Monday night and inflict huge losses on Asian and
European exchanges. By the time the US investor arrives on Tuesday morning, he will be panicky and he might be late.

Today's rally was the "monkey rally". Feed a monkey and watch him sh**. In fact, today we have already seen some long-lost "monkeys" come in and post their sh** on this BB. Let's
watch what they post on Tuesday. (or Wednesday - sometimes I am a day late).

A response to Anthony re ENMD from a professional in the field who actually knows something about the subject (as opposed to Anthony who knows nothing about the subject):

I think that you are missing the forest because of all of the trees. Earlier NCI statements cast doubt on the underlying TECHNOLOGY, but virtually NO ONE publishes NEGATIVE data because it can't be proven. The experiments either don't work because the underlying hypothesis is wrong, or the experiment wasn't done properly. The NCI now says that the experiment initially wasn't done properly, and now the underlying technology works.

Remember, LLY gave back Viracept to AGPH. BMY jumped ship largely because of technical problems which, for endostatin, appear to have been overcome.

It remains to be seen if the animal data can work in humans, but the underlying technology appears to be valid, and ENMD can get a THIRD PARTY to develop the drug (see tonight's DJ story).

Holaday may have an optimistic time line, but the price will probably go up tomorrow, because the underlying technology has been validated by a third party (the NCI - who got it RIGHT).

Betting on NEGATIVE data is a major no no, no matter if its generated by a for profit company like BMY, and or non-profit organization like the NCI.

It's hard to get a POSITIVE result without cheating.

Can't tell the players without a scorecard:

NCI 1, BMY 0

(hold onto you shorts, someone will be tugging on them tomorrow)<<
