INTERESTING BUY RECOMMENDATION IN SPECULATIVESTOCK.COM International Wayside Gold Wayside has a number of properties in British Columbia, Canada, The most advanced of which is the Cariboo Gold Mine. This mine has been in production since the late 1800's and has produced some excellent grades. As of Jan 20/99 they have announced an updated resource inventory of over a million ounces. This can be seen in detail by going to their Web Site at wayside-gold.com It is expected this company will actually go into limited production this year. In approximately 1944 - 1946 an adit of around 10,000ft was driven to an area known as the BC Vein. Due to material and labour shortages and lack of wartime status as a vital industry, little exploration was done. Wayside has drilled approximately 225 holes and outlined an open pit resource of 350-400,000oz/au.in the old mine. A new resource calculation is due in January that may nearly double this resource to 700,000oz. There is every chance this property will be in pre-production within a year and poses an excellent low risk, low cost, opportunity. They have also drilled an exploratory hole at the BC Vein and the first intersection was 110 feet, approximately 30-50ft wide. The assays that were done on the sludge indicated a total grade of 0.232oz/tonne with 30ft of 1oz/tonne and 10ft of that 30ft grading 2oz/tonne. A Total of eleven holes have been drilled and more will be done over the winter. Grades from both core and sludge are excellent and can be viewed in their entirety on the Wayside Website. As the vein is 2400ft long and approximately 800ft in depth, there exists the potential for a large increase in total mineable gold. This increase in the BC vein alone could be another 500,000oz/au and we believe this along with the 700,000 possible oz/au in the adjacent open pit, will increase the stock price considerably from it's current value. Lastly, the close proximity to all weather access by road and rail, power and the town of Wells make this property a low cost infrastructure investment. With Companies such as Homestake and Kennecott looking at the property there is a good chance a joint venture or a takeover by a major producer may take place.
