Quoting from the press release,
"The sale has been completed and as a result, Leah's current cash
and cash equivalents exceed $10 million and the company has no
significant long-term or short-term debt."

IF . . . (hypothetically speaking) Leah Industries Inc. were to dissolve, and all the cash and cash equivalents were to be given to shareholders today for their shares, then the proceeds to us holding common shares would be just a few pennies less than the price of Leah today, and that would NOT be including the tangible assets around the world! Could be slightly lower I suppose, if the company is including in cash equivalents the 2.3 million shares held as treasury stock. Somebody correct me where I'm wrong, PLEASE!

At any rate, Leah is such a bargain it makes my head spin. I'm almost tempted to put more money into LEAH, if my wife will let me.

I once held shares of a private corporation that was sold, and the proceeds I received from that sale were greater than the established price of the shares. But for a public company like LEAH? This is almost unheard of, isn't it? Or am I doing my math wrong?
