The "public" (read rude, selfish protesters) has no right to close public roadways causing citizens who are minding their own business to be late for work, classes, miss hard to schedule appointments, etc.

I know some of these corporations are run by scumbags. Con Agra used to have a plant here in my hometown. They had absolutely no respect for worker safety and treated the locals like refuse. We got rid of the jokers finally when they needed a cesspool to process waste out in the country and people filed environmental nuisance papers against the company. This was a couple years ago. The plant is still closed.

Still, I doubt many in my hometown would have had much patience with a bunch of workers screwing around with their daily itineraries by blocking off public roadways. --Al
