Hi JB,

First time posting here. I've had DELL for the past year
and am quite satisfied with its performance. Regarding
your comment:

I did not realize that one can buy options in an IRA account.
I have a 401K Rollover into an IRA at DLJ and they told me
that regulations does not allow me to buy any type of options.

Can you suggest a broker that allow this ?

Thanks and enjoyed your post.

Tan

<<<Re: How long to hold options>>>
Very well put JBird: Holding options further out makes it much easier to endure the tension as each series comes due. Because one already has the next series to look forward too regardless if one series disappoints. Seldom does Dell sit around for over two months without moving up. I happen to buy them at the money or just a bit out
which is a bit riskier game.

Thanks JB:
Do you ever use any stock but DELL for your options? I did really great on a yahoo April call (sold already; its fast appreciation almost alarmed me!) and wonder about trying that again.
Only drawback in options in the IRA of course is if they lose money but that wouldnt happen, I dont believe, always buying as you do 25% in the money.
