Detail-MD, Man, you know how to apply the pressure don't you, and Uncle Frank thought he was under pressure. Seriously though, your comments are very generous, kind and appreciated with a sense of humbleness. I know what you mean when you say you feel as if you have known us for years. I personally feel as if most of the people on the thread are part of a special family. They could be nothing but family to put up with my incessant pontification. What I appreciate the most about the group is the way they have accepted me for the way I am without condemnation of my sometimes seemingly Voodooish, Black-Magic behavior. I lurked ( sinister probably fits me better than you ) for almost two years before I decided to post on SI. I chose the Dell thread not just because of my Dell holdings but because I considered it to be the most sophisticated and intelligent forum on the Internet. That is one reason you will rarely see a post of mine on any other thread. I guess about the best compliment an individual could pay a poster on SI is for them to join just to thank them. Again, it is most appreciated. Good luck with your investing and career as and M.D. and stay in touch. I am sure I speak for most of the thread when I say feel free to call on any of us. Dear Detail: <chicago area> I am coming to Rockford sometime this weekend. Is your suburb near Rockford? Would love to have coffee with you. Am especially interested about your comment about an offshore fund being traded by you. Since I trade, I pay alot of taxes. Perhaps you know something about stable offshore sites. Although I love this country, if there is stability elsewhere for the money, I would loe to be a floating trader. And you might be amazed at how much I have made in my first year---even have the year end summary when I travel, because it was so obscene. So much is to be gained here, by helping each other become more financially secure.
