FRIENDS, ROMANS, NAVARR-IANS LEND ME YOUR EARS!

First let me say it is a pleasure to join both SI and my fellow NAVR Longs who I have been eavesdropping on for so many weeks. I humbly ask for a seat on the proverbial NAVR bench.

I, too, believe that we may be sitting on a powderkeg of stockular dynamite, especially after the stellar Internet IPO's today. But I do think that the "several weeks" comment may have some believability to it. I wish they'd just get this baby out now and let her fly.

I really wouldn't mind NAVR dipping down in the 14's so I can pick up some more at discount prices. One possible strategy I'm been mulling over is to buy on the dips and sell a day or two after the IPO announcement before buying in again a couple weeks before the actual IPO.

The problem I've had with setting a fixed price limit is that if it peaks below that target price, I expect (or rather, demand) that the stock hit my target before I sell. By the time I realize it won't I'm stuck holding the ChumpChange Bag.

Anyway, let's get the troops rallied in anticipation of our assault on the 20s and beyond.

Patience! What are you talking about; we are not officers of the corporation; we are not like those who in the past two days have filed intents to sell, knowing something we don't. We are common, ordinary schelps, betting on the word of the ceo; he gets on national televisio and says sixty days; he holds a national news conference, and appears to be "relatively comfortable" with the timetable; people take their hard earned money and believe him. He leaks to the major newspaper in minneapolis that the ipo will be filed on Tuesday. AND THEN SANDBAGS US ALL. Do you call that an honorable man? If I was that reporter on the Star, I would want his scalp. Even marketwatch got hoodwinked, It seems to me your good and decent hardworking ceo has used us, the common shareholders without inside company knowledge, for his own , selfish purposes. No wonder on Monday the stock dropped to 16 3/4; what brought it back to l7 15/16? It was us, buying, buying on the trust that what the ceo said, he meant. How dare you insult us! Your CEO, whom you so admire, has screwed thousands of ordinary men and women who believe that on national television, on a national broadcast, one would not lie.

Mr. Foley ... Thank you for the intelligent post. I only wish that I could have seen Mr. Paulson's interview for myself. I appreciate the balance which you provided.

Happy Trades/Investing!

JFF

But I do feel that personal attacks should not be
directed to hardworking intelligent people unless good reason
comes into play. It doesn't here

I am surprised that you have no investment in NAVR if you are such a close and knowledgeable person of Paulson. WHY ??

There is good reason to attack Paulson. he made a public statement - 60-days to ipo- that he did not back up. Then he made a general statement - delayed by a few weeks - that leaves all investors hanging.

It would have been better to have said ipo in a few weeks and then at some point in time when he had better knowledge, ipo within 60-days. and keep the 60-day promise.

And some of us cant sell since we would take a loss. And some dont want to sell lest they miss the ipo. So Paulson has us hanging by our nails with his public statements. Not very intellignet, is it ??
