>>Install includes the NIC

Yeah, a 10-dollar NIC to scramble your 2000-dollar computer.

Maybe it'll work out, but don't get too excited. What's that
NIC going to do to your other IRQs? Is it a PCI NIC? Bet
it's ISA. Do you have an ISA slot? What's going to happen
when the weenie starts fiddling with your bios settings?

In short, nothing's free <g>.

(Edit) Sorry, maybe too negative. But I wouldn't let 'em
so much as fondle the power cord on MY systems, though
the rest of the package might be useful. Bell Atlantic
is offering that kind of package too. I'd let 'em in
to put in the modem and tell me a few details, then
hand me the NIC and close the door on your way out. If
my experience with phone Co. deedles is any guide. The
jerk-off that installed my frame relay sat in the
basement for three hours while he "ran tests". In a pigs
eye. He ran a twenty minute test and slept the rest of
the time (actually, he slept through the test too).
I know, I had to step over him to get to the fridge
for beer ... <ggg>.
