re: Intel longs: (of which I am one) The threat to Intel presented by AMD and others is not that they will displace Intel from its dominant position, but rather that they will prevent it from maintaining or increasing its profitability. Do you think that AMD et al will continue to pressure Intel's margins? Do you think that the current valuation multiple will decline if earning remain essentially flat for another year? Do you think that Intel will face antitrust action if it uses its financial muscle to repel AMD via price war?
Wondering if I should take my profit and wait for visibility to improve.
