Hey Time Traveler,
analysts do NOT rate big companies below hold. Never.
THat is the lowest rating. Which means their clients are already out. If they were still trying to unload, then they would have the rating at strong buy. THat is how the game is played. The reason they never use SELL rating is that they don't want burn their bridges with the companies for futures information and invitations. Fuckin Gutless Idiots. That is why I hate most analysts.
