<--Ref:Margin-->------->

Geeez Arthur, considering the money you dole out to them 'crooks' one would have thought you get some special considerations from the broker.<vbg>

I get 6 days (until 3 PM on the 6th day) (Ooops not 7 days as stated before),I don't know what the rules are but that is what I get.

Here is an example from an actual letter I got from the schmucks.
===========================
" .....As a result of trades executed on 01/28/99,your margin account
requires an additional payment of $xxxxxxx or acceptable securities having a loan value of at least that amount to satisfy the margin deficiency in your account.Please have these funds or securities forwarded as prompty as possible to the appropriate address as indicated below:-
------------blah blah blah....

Unfortunately,in accordance with securities industry regulation,if funds or securities are not received by 3:00 PM EST time on 02/03/99
we may be obligated to liquidate securities held in your account at that time or as soon thereafter as feasible.........

So actually 6 days not 7 as I stated before.Is this not so in your case?
