Wow! I was expecting something completely different from the title of this thread.

I'll post my Valentine's day thought today rather than Sunday since my wife would be obligated to throw cold spaghetti at me if I even came close to my computer on Feb 14th.

I had my first date with my wife 5 years ago this coming Sunday, so it is a doubly meaningful day. I fell in love with her on the day of the Northridge Earthquake. She lived pretty much at the red dot and I was a friend of the family, and I went over to make sure that she, her sister and her mother were ok. When she opened the door something just clicked.

After our first date (it was hilarious and fun), I knew that I either could never go out with her again or that I was going to marry her. It was a real black and white situation (thank god, I can't stand gray areas).

Marrying my wife was quite simply the best decision that I have ever made.

I might even forego watching boxing, the simpsons and southpark this weekend as a surprise present:-)
