"did I miss any hotbuttons?"

The mobile factories have been eliminated, and Zitel.com will do all further Y2K remediation over the 'net.

I posted a message on yahoo which said that Zitel has been so good to us short-sellers that perhaps we should take up a collection so the company can continue cranking out press releases. Even if they can't get the stock above 5 again, I for one will truly miss the endless amusement this company has provided should they go under.

Remember the time when Zitel management and the shills were discussing how "portable code factories" could be taken into secret government installations and then destroyed afterwards for security purposes?

Big Federal contracts

Before I get off my duff and do the research myself, I was wondering if anyone knew the status of the Nevada contract.

This will not ring a bell with anyone unless they followed the thread in early to mid 97, but this was the first contract that Matridigm got, and seemed to be a real, signed contract. Big news at the time, it sent the stock from the low 30s up to the high 30s. For a day or two. Pretty bad "short squeeze" ;-)

It was for $5 million, and was supposed to be the first of many more contracts, to be signed at an ever increasing pace and for larger and larger amounts as time went by. These expectations of further contract is what led to the famous "contract on the desk" quarterly call, followed by the next quarter's "Let's play 'Jack Said'" explanation about why they "...chose not to execute..."

The contract did seem to be real, although progress was slower than expected. At some point in there was Jack's infamous "well it's not as if the smartest programmers work for the Nevada state IT dept".

So is there evidence of the full $5million of revenue being recognized by Matridigm? Did they at least finish this one? I'll dig through the Zitel-Matridigm merger 8-K if I have to, but I was hoping someone might already know the answer to this one small concrete job that Matridigm really did land.
