Hi Bob: Fast execution is absolutely essential for me. You see, I basically stare at the "market maker window" part of level II, and sense that the spread is stable for a few minutes. Then, I want my trade executed before the spread starts moving in either direction. I figure that I do not pay any commission on 95% of my trades, because I set my limits so tight. It seems to me that when the market maker sees my order, that they know I must have an excellent sense of what the hell is actually happening, and if they want my business, they may as well not play around with the order. Just get the damn thing done. Anyway, it seems to work. What are you asking for? Are you trying to think abut something else? Am I addressing your interests?
