Hello, John, If we had all of the sad news about innocent victims come down upon us at one time, it would be very hard to maintain any semblance of joy or comfort within ourselves. The cruelty of the world and satan has been with us ever since Cain slew Able. Are we going to change it? We can only attempt to help our neighbor in our small individual lives but I have read the book of Revelation and it is prophesied that these things will happen with more and more frequency until Christ returns with His Saints to overcome satan and the world. But God will sound His trumpet prior to the the rise of the anti-christ and the wrath of the tribulation and we will respond by being transformed and meeting Him in the air with glorified bodies that will no longer know the sufferings that we have endured. It will be pure joy to see old friends and loved ones. Won't we have a lot of joyful times with them? May God keep your cup running over, my friend. Santiago
