Man, Chris Matthews is like one of the wiggle worms they have on the 4th of July or something. Hes squirming and worming.... Republicans cant believe the dichotomy - 70% approval, no one wants him impeached, but 72% think he did commit perjury. I guess when you have only one brain cell its hard to read that contradiction. For the rest of us we know that lying about sex is irrelevant in the real world where people lie about personal matters when it is the best thing to do.

Maybe thats why the republicans never get lucky..... they dont lie when someone asks "do I look fat in this....?"

Calling Murphy a bitch is as descriptive as calling Frank neurotic, or Corky perky.

Tripp Says She Acted to Spare Lewinsky Abusive Affair With Clinton nytimes.com

I can't quite figure out if this is on a more or less humorous note. Here Linda "I am you!" Tripp allegedly spills her guts (or something) to the good gray Times. Perhaps a preemptive defense from the upcoming Barbara Walters Show? I'm sure Neocon would find her guileless here. Too much to pull out all the good points, I'll just give the Times' ironic conclusion.

Mrs. Tripp recalled that Ms. Lewinsky told her, "Thanks a lot," in a sarcastic way.

"She said it like a recalcitrant little child," Mrs. Tripp said.

Mrs. Tripp recalled that she told Ms. Lewinsky, "They did it to me, too." But Mrs. Tripp acknowledged that the remark -- a reference to her also being the target of Starr's sting operation -- was a lie. Mrs. Tripp said that brief exchange was the last time she had spoken with Ms. Lewinsky, and she added that she deeply regrets how their friendship ended.

"I am so fond of Monica," Mrs. Tripp said. "I remain as fond of her today as I always have been. And I wish her nothing but the best."

I'm getting sort of fond of Monica myself.
