Mike, what did you expect? Do you expect everyone here to be a wealth of information? Do you expect us all to have the inside scoop? Maybe you want the company's officers to be posting here to tell us all of the latest? SI is a social club, a much more civil one than Yahoo. True, most of the people here love this stock and this company for its potential, but most of us don't know any more than you can find out by doing a little research. Or maybe you want us to do that for you?
Oh, and if you can't learn anything new here, you must have a learning disability.

Mike, here's some content: biz.yahoo.com

Another deal for Source Media. Certainly ACTV won't be the only player in the digital interactive field.

Many have been here for some time now. We've done our DD and have posted what we could. Check past posts and SEC filings.
I personally have followed/grueled over ACTV for nearly 10 years.
It's time to savor the victory!

Keep lurking. If you post again I hope next time it will contain some worthwhile "content".

The fundamental purpose of most stock message boards is for people to reassure each other that they haven't made a mistake. (That's why disagreement is typically greeted with scathing hostility.) Next, they're a social activity. People like to schmooze. Finally, they're a source of information and misinformation, the latter frequently rooted in misinterpretations of real information because (1) posters' biases brook no bad news, and (2) numerous posters tend to think that a tiny slice of the pie is all the pie.
Regarding substantive content, Mike.com is right that not a whole lot can be expected from message boards beyond what thorough research can provide, although there are exceptions.
Nothing I just said applies to ACTV, of course, which is going to go up, up, up, if only to please my wife who wants a new Audi despite her owning a well-matured 1941 Pontiac with original paint and almost half a muffler, a car which, for inexplicable reasons, she claims to find less than satisfying.
