Rocket: I just read through the entire ENMD novel. One of the best single reads ever on SI! The short/long battle is intense. But there is no real news, as such. I think it's safe to say most everyone expects a gap up in ayem. When the slide begins after that, tho, is anybody's guess. This is news? ENMD is a fantasy stock, however. It has unlimited potential in the near term. For that reason, I think it was foolhardy for anyone to short it overnight. Unless, of course, their pockets are so deep they can afford the potential squeeze. Too risky for my blood. I got in near the low on Wed, long. Not a large position, but large enough. The downside for me is therefore limited to a dozen points. But a short, even at these levels? I wouldn't touch it yet. M2

WSJ and NY Times have extensive articles on ENMD this morning. Both have a note of caution about translating animal work to humans as well as the volatility of the molecules. However both discuss the NCI start of clinical trials this fall and the NY Times indicates that production of 2 pounds of Endostatin has been out-sourced. Details linked to Anti-Angiogenesis table in New Therapeutics section of biocognizance.com

Rman,
I haven't slogged through the entire ENMD thread, but two impressive substantive posts caught my eye, one from tommysdad: Message 7787366 ,

and one from Rick Harmon: Message 7789772 .
