immune system soon kicked the foreign material out of the

from which we have
Adenovirus (Ad) - highly expressed in non-dividing tissues
and have the capacity to carry long segments of genetic information (good!). However, adenoviruses induce a strong immune system and are soon eliminated from the patient (bad!) Have recently been modified to eliminate the strong antigenic response.
