You're right, Hubert, everyone is truly alone. I have had that realization on a few occasions, like it hit me in the middle of my forehead, but I also know that most of us spend a lot of subconsicious energy trying to keep this thought out of our conscious memory most of the time.

I guess the denial and stunned unreality stages of your grief process are ending. I don't know what to say, and can't really imagine how you feel now, but I still think about you all the time.

MSB and I are trying to add some poetry and stuff to THE ALL CAPS CAFE, keeping it out of the archives in your honor. We were so young and happy and silly over there last summer, and it seems so very long ago now that you are ill.
