Kahuna, The Public Citizen's monthly newsletter "Worse Pills Best Pills" published July 1998(Vol.4 #7) specifically recommended that due to the untested safety standards that the FDA ignored concerning Viagra approval, citizens should totally AVOID VIAGRA USE FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS: citizen.org The Public Citizens is primarily concerned with the health and safety of the American people. They have an EXCELLENT record of identifying and exposing drugs which the FDA rushed through approval without adequate testing for safety. They feel that Viagra should not be used until safety can be determined. So far their recommendations have been EXCELLENT as I am sure that the families of those who have had loved ones die after taking Viagra or even those having coronaries would agree. The Public Citizens Group has an excellent record of identifying unsafe drugs that have achieved FDA approval. They have no ax to grind. Pfizer can not sway their opinions with their big $$ as they are able to do in Washington with their multimillion dollar spending on political contributions and lobbyists. Thank God for that!!
