CSCO=DELL? Can anyone here tell me why csco is exempt from the competition?

I own csco but my major concern has always been the competition having an effect on csco earnings.I recently Sold my dell because of the same concerns and I just have the same feeling with CSCO.I took some money off the table with CSCO and I would like to hear some input as to the competition.thanks
