Hi Paul, I am not afraid to call the bottom. This market is going to 10,000 by the end of March in my opinion. I would also be a buyer today the minute the selling subsides. My guess is we get Clinton verdict immediately after the bell, My guess Dell beats earnings estimates, My guess Markets run wild Tuesday and all of next week.
After hitting 10,000 in late March the market will sell of some on profit taking and remain slow for a few weeks while people deal with tax season. Then in late April we see another huge run in the market through early or mid July where we will see a long steady summer sell off culminating in a CNBC doom and gloom forecasts again around Sept. Oct. Then another run into the New Millenium.
These are my opinions only and not intended as investment advice.lol

If DELL goes below 90, maybe it's a good time to buy some calls
a few months out.

I've always been afraid of dell because its in what I would consider a commodity business. One day it will break down but who knows when. In the meantime if you are going to trade I would advise following it back up rather than trying to pick the bottom. BTW my family is long some.
