Quality suffers in the beginning of every technology... this is the beginning, comparable to phone service in the '20s.

Regarding rates, in Germany I was calling out at .64 to the US a year ago. Rates are dropping quickly, I wonder what the operating profit threshold is for the large telcos?

Curious - in what way was the Net2Phone deficient from London? Was there noise, hard to hear, cutting out, or what? I'm sure they'd like some feedback that their operators may not adequately convey to them.

My 1-800 (toll free) call through the Net2Phone was of good quality (not excellent). Normal telephone is at about 64K, so the modem could make a big difference. What speed are you using.
