Re: Rumor BS or concerns, an ingenious way to get Dell and the Nasdaq moving after a big rise. Churn, churn, churn.

Analyst Comments:

CS First Boston has been much more accurate than the other two firms that are putting out random earnings and sales predictions today.
First Boston still feels DELL is on target and maintains a Strong Buy.

S G Cowen on 1/10/99 said DELL is a "Strong Buy". Expect FQ4 EPS of .31 vs. .20 on 46% revenue growth. The Pipeline is Strong. Estimates are likely to go up after the quarter is announced. Reports 2/16.

Estimates:
1/98 0.64 (actual)
1/99 1.06
1/00 1.50

Merrill Lynch 1/9/99 DELL is a Buy, Estimates of 0.32 vs. 0.20 (First Call Consensus is 0.31).

IMO, DELL is still the next DELL!! Some folks still realize this.
