Latest Float Information:

I called United Stock Transfer, Inc. (DGIV's transfer agent) at (303)792-3650. I believe these numbers to be more accurate than the ones that may be given out by the various brokers... though I suppose I could be mistaken. I guess that wouldn't reflect very well on UST though.

As of March 24, 1999

Outstanding: 19,973,014
Restricted: 10,738,504
Float: 9,234,510

Compared to March 9, 1999

Outstanding: 19,973,014
Restricted: 11,393,041
Float: 8,603,307

Compared to October, 1998

Authorized: 20,000,000
Outstanding: 19,083,547
Restricted: 11,643,541
Float: 7,440,006

Sometime after I called in October, the number of authorized shares has become "confidential" information and the transfer agent suggested I call the company for this information back in the beginning of March.

Note that the number of outstanding shares has not increased to over 20M, regardless of the "confidentiality" of the information.

For those that don't know (please don't feel insulted if you already know this...):

Authorized shares is the upper limit in the number of shares that the company may issue.

Outstanding shares are the total number of shares issued by the company.

Restricted shares are "non-tradeable" shares (for one reason or another) issued by the company.

Float is the number of shares that are tradeable.

Note that from October of '98 until early March, the total number issued increased by .9M shares. In addition, approximately 250K shares were released from their restricted status and entered the float, for a total increase in the float of 1.15M.

From early March to late March (about 2 weeks), the total number of shares outstanding actually decreased by 23K (whch translates to being roughly the same number). The float; however, did increase by about .63M shares. This increase in the float and decrease in total outstanding shares was fueled by about .65M shares being released from restricted status.
