"I intend to work closely with them over the next few months, and if they convince me of some things, I will announce that I plan to be flying that night." You may be interested to know that Peter de Jager has already announced that he definitely will be flying on Jan. 1, 2000 to either Japan or Europe. Presumably he has been convinced of the "few" things. I can't provide a printed reference to this but he unequivocally stated this during an interview on CBC's Newsworld in January.
