GRTS--Garts Sports seems to be having a SNIAGRAB sale on the stock this morning...opened higher, then dipped lower...

Can't figure it... great company with good prospects and now planning a major web presence, and the stock doesn't move.

A dog like INNO announces plans for their website, and they double!

>>>ATLANTA, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Leading U.S. sporting goods retailer, Gart Sports Co., plans to make its merchandise available on the Internet this year, its chief executive officer said on Thursday....
Gart is the second largest full-line sporting goods retailer in the United States, operating in the western and central parts of the country.

Morton said Gart anticipates opening five to six stores in 1999, all in California and Colorado.

Gart now has 122 stores in 16 states, operating under the names Gart Sports and Sportmart <<<

Good explanation of reason for price drop here:
techstocks.com

>>>They are the company that had a failed bid for TSA a few months back. After that, the shoe and sporting goods business took a big drop. Their price was around 18 at the time of the TSA deal. They run a tight ship, <<<

(SNIAGRAB is the term they use for their wildly popular pre-season sale...)

This one looks very undervalued even without the web site news...
