I don't follow NSM, and as such, I have no opinion on where it could go. The potential rise or fall of any specific equity depends on the stock itself. I don't attempt to time the market. I establish specific thresholds for entry and exit for funds, and only those that perform in concert with the SPX. I follow that closely, and enter or exit (4-5 times a year) when those signals are given.

As for stocks, especially in postion holds, I use the same strategy as you, with the difference (possibly) being that I wait for an entry signal after the dip. WIND, as an example, would have to rise above 22.125 to signal entry, and that is why it was on the watch list for today, as it was approaching that threshold.

The strategy I use for managing the mutual funds is entirely different from that for stocks.
