in Internet Sales

First Quarter 1999 Web Sales Running 43% over Fourth Quarter 1998

Website Presence Further Expanded

SHREWSBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1999-- Programmer's Paradise®, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROG - news), the
international computer products marketer, stated today that sales from its newly enhanced and expanded webstore at
www.pparadise.com are running at approximately 43% over the sales level reported in the fourth quarter of 1998. In a
year-over-year comparison, the current rate of first quarter 1999 Internet sales is anticipated to reflect a 205% increase over
first quarter 1998 Internet sales.

Bill Willett, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Programmer's Paradise, stated, ''Our improved site provides the
information and ease of ordering that appeals to our customer base of software development professionals and information
technology professionals within enterprise organizations. Current sales levels are running ahead of expectations, and we are

Zeev, RE:", how far do you figure we will go today?"

Who knows. Looks like my $1.74 eps for 99 is going to be a little conservative. Your $1.40 is looking like a major underestimation. Buy the turnips some new shoes and send me the bill. <GGG>
