*OT* Since when do Americans wet their finger and put it in the air to gather moral guidance from the Europeans or the Japanese? It was only 50 years ago that we had to kick the living shit out of both of them for their arrogant moral stupidity, and now we're pointing to THEM as beacons of morality to justify the actions of our lying slut President(and by extension our own actions)? Maybe the average American, exasperated, has given up living for and defending his or her own internal constitution and system of self government, but as long as there is a God in heaven I will never relegate the direction of my own moral compass to the whims of the latest TV show, or to a people who have either resigned to moral mediocrity or never had it in the first place.
