<< A what??? <<a trial by the Senate>> Your saying that was a "trial." >> The House Republicans abused their power by impeaching an American President without calling witnesses. This abuse of power should not go overlooked by the public during the 2000 elections. These Republicans thought that they could force an illegal impeachment down this country's throat. It was an out and out attempt to overturn an American Election. Why do I say that? Because they did not call any witnesses. They voted on impeachment without a fair trial and without a fair debate on the issues. These Republican thugs pushed their agenda without respect for the Constitution and without regard for the American People! They based their entire case on the unchallenged input of Ken Starr's grand jury. What a travesty of justice! Let's see how short the American people's memories are in 2000. I think that they will remember being shit upon by the Republicans.
