JW,

"BUT HAS IEEE interface"

The 1300 also has the IEEE interface (I don't even know what that means, but hopefully it will work with a standard printer cable and my computer).

Here's the 1300 spec sheet;

I looked at the 4000, since I bought a scanner also, but decided against it for a couple reasons (that I don't know if they make sense or not);

I needed a flat bed scanner (gotta scan all those baseball cards in so I can sell them on eBay).

The comparison page shows the 4000 doesn't print photo quality (although there is probably not much difference between that and photo realistic) and the 4000 doesn't do the photo overcoat.

Either way, the 4000 around $159 still has to be quite a bargain.

I don't know why these are going so cheap on uBid. Must be people just haven't found them there yet. I followed some on eBay and they all went for quite a bit more than those at uBid.
