Tony, Toni, Tone,

"Don't they call you Carl sometimes, short for your last name? Freudian slip, old Carl Yastrzemski fan. ;-]"

No problem whatsoever. You may be thinking of that funny guy who comes around every now and then.

Good ol' Yaz, The last triple crown winner! Probably also the last hitter to win the batting crown while hitting .301. PE ratios were also much lower in 1967.

I'm afraid that I've always been a New York Yankees fan. Many hard feelings within my family, which hails from Newton, Mass.

One game at Fenway I went to, Boomer Scott and Jim Rice both hit homers. It was Rice's 32nd of the year (he finished with 46 and almost won the triple crown himself that year, 1978). That was the year the Yanks came back from 14 games down to win it all on Bucky Dent's corked-bat Green Monster Homer!

ah, memories.

Cheers,

Chris
