i may be very wrong...but...my understanding is that the market is rarely at equilibrium...if it was it would go sideways...last price not freely determined by the buyer and seller, but by the specialist who is chartered to maintain an orderly market... imbalance of orders causes price movement and that movement is amplified by the inventory on his books...i don't follow academic studies, for they are only that, academic...if you've ever been on a trading floor, the guys in the funny coats , for the most part aren't academicians...i am always open to being educated...and i welcome it...

today sold dell puts, went long the common...doubt dell will be under 75 in jan...got a 1400 per contract premium...also believe dell will be above 90 in january...i don't talk, or theorize, i simply put my money down...and take my chance...and live by the courage of my convictions!
