B: ROSS SYSTEMS, INC. TO PRESENT AT CRUTTENDEN ROTH GROWTH STOCK CONFERENCE

Cruttenden Roth Growth Stock Conference, LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Feb. 12
/PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS), a fast-growing
provider of enterprise software, has captured a leading position in the
mid-tier process manufacturing sector. Speaking at the Cruttenden Roth
Growth Stock Conference in California, Ross Systems CEO Dennis Vohs
noted that partially because of industry recognition of the company's
top-rated process manufacturing functionality, Ross Systems is
producing steady growth as part of what analysts describe as a
"significant turnaround" for the company.

Revenues in the company's second fiscal quarter ending Dec. 31 rose 31%
to a record $26.2 million. Net earnings increased $1.46 million.
Gross margins were a robust 55%. Annual revenues reached $104 million.
This was Ross Systems' 10th consecutive quarter of year over year
revenue growth. In the second quarter, the company signed a record 30
new ERP accounts as license revenue grew 25% and revenue from
consulting services jumped 54%. Maintenance revenue was up 13%.

Analysts expect significant growth of the overall mid-tier market for
enterprise software into the foreseeable future. The ability of Ross
Systems to compete effectively for improved market share is based on
several factors.

* Ross Systems has received top ratings for the functionality of its
process manufacturing software by the prestigious Gartner Group. Gartner
rates Ross number one for continuous batch software and batch repetitive
functionality.

* Most major ERP software firms compete primarily in the area of discreet
manufacturing as opposed to process manufacturing where Ross Systems has
carved out an increasingly strong niche in an area of relatively low
penetration.

* Ross is recognized as a low total cost provider of enterprise software.
Implementation costs of the company's software are significantly below
many competitors.

* Ross Systems has developed powerful alliances with leading consultants
such as Anderson Consulting and Deloitte & Touche who are partners in the
installation of Ross Systems software.

* The Gartner Group 1997 ERP Software Vendor guide rated Ross Systems
number one for service.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., Ross Systems has 3,200 customers
worldwide and 49 sales and support offices in 34 countries. The
company has 670 employees. Annual R&D expenditures are $13.1 million.
The company also benefits from a strongly improved balance sheet. At
current prices, the company's stock sells at less than one times
revenue and less than 14 times trailing earnings. Ross Systems' press

Look around. There are more individual investors playing short than long. How long do you think that will last, before nobody makes any money? Put out a pick and 5 minutes later it is down. What does that tell you?

But guess what? If nobody is left to bid up stocks to crazy levels, then there will be no more big profits on the short side. Furthermore, as bears roar and rally. . .today's bears have NO CLUE what to do in a true bear market. . .where every day has lower and lower volume. . .more and more stocks have zero volume. . .and stocks just tick lower by 1/8ths day after day after day after day.

What do you have when a stock shows 100k on the bid and 100k on the ask?

Nothing.
