VERY IMPORTANT There is a rumor in a recent HIS trade journal that HBOC is going to do a deal with HIE for Emerge. The market has not heard very much about Emerge, HIE's other jewel, but perhaps that is about to change. For those of you that have not done their DD on Emerge, it may make sense to do so soon. If McKesson/HBOC is going to license, and yes, sell Emerge, the impact on HIE could be monumental, perhaps bigger than the HBOC Cloverleaf deal (JMHO of course). Let's keep our fingers crossed that this trade journal has a good contact and is on the money.
