But ICQ will not work very well if Anthony is sending a broadcast and one person on the broadcast happens to be behind a firewall using a proxy. The ICQ will go through, but it usually takes extra time (sometimes as long as a minute), during which time, Anthony will be unable to send another broadcast to the same people (at least until the last person has received the prior broadcast. As far as ICQ chat, it is fine for anywhere from two to four people, but I think we are all aware of how many people actually log ontoo Anthony's site and are silently running trades. ICQ would not work for something like this.

I use ICQ myself - I communicate with people all the time using it. Here is how I think ICQ would work well here:

I like your idea. It would mean we would all get notified on Anthony's picks as he makes them and wouldn't have to stay glued to the SI message forum. Does ICQ work behind firewalls?

David

EDIT - I guess there are firewall problems as the previous post points out.

I have previously recommended ICQ to Anthony. I think it would do the trick for alerts.
