R.D. the reason for the large spreads is that there are simply no shares out there to trade, and the big spread is meant to encourage more trading. I spoke to one MM who said it was very difficult to fill orders greater than 5,000 because there were only ~500 shares on either side of the bid.

This is why I'm not too worried about small fluctuations now. When word gets out, and volume increases, the spread will decrease. Because so few shares are being traded right now, we may have to get above $1.50 before almost anybody is going to sell a meaningful size of shares. IMO, today is a good day to load up below $1.25 if you can. Maybe place a couple small orders. After the three day weekend, I expect us to push to new highs all week long beginning Tuesday.

Load 'em up.

Y'all don't have too much fun without me. I'm taking my doublecase on a little European vacation, we'll both be back Sunday to enjoy the BANY ride. I'm thinking of placing an order for ANYI directly with a MM, anyone have any experience buying new issues this way?
