HIGHER CAT LOYNING

Woody,

Glad you asked:

chart.yahoo.com

Look at the action on 7/22. The gap was only 11.8 percent (not too different than what DELL did <<gulp>> this morning); by the end of the day, the difference was over 25%--not the "mandatory" 30%, but you get the idea. (Esteban felt that the 30 percent figure was exclusionary and included many a mid-20 percent gapper in his lists.)
Notice how it took a second day, the 23rd, also on high-volume, to get the full felinic pelvic thrust accomplished. Once in, it (and Este-cats in general) tend to sink like stones, before finally giving off confused signals (two- to three-day bottoms) that can nonetheless be highly profitable two or three months down the road. They take more cajones to play: I showed my endowment in that regard with EDFY, ABTI, CEXP, and (rather stunningly, IMHO), with ALTN, but who's counting.
I believe ABTX is headed for such an eventuality. I'm a little afraid (for my brother 56'ers' sakes) that it's not inconceivable for AKLM either. I have visions of buying it at $6 five or six weeks from now.
