This really will not much matter. You must remember, we are dealing here with Bill Clinton. He will only do what is expedient, even if it means abandoning those who rallied around him.

I long ago knew Clinton would be acquitted. Indeed I even predicted he would not be impeached (and I am happy to say I was wrong). Nevertheless, I am saddened to see what our country has done to itself.

There are two bright spots in this ordeal: 1.) Clinton was impeached, 2.) the House Republicans actually stood firmly and courageously for principle, this, against the American public and against the American Senate. It is a pleasure to observe such greatness. I compliment the House Republicans for their stand. In my opinion, they are the clear heroes here.
