Moving down 30% isn't what I'd call tanking. I see 10%-25% upside and 30% downside for Yahoo! That's great performance in what I think will be an adverse market. YHOO is a good long-term hold but not a good stock to buy to hold for just six months. Many investors who buy Internut stocks do so with the expectation that they will rise soon by several tens of percent. When that continues to fail to happen, the lack of excess liquidity will drive them down, IMO.
