Maybe some of this will leak over to MXNT:

RESEARCH ALERT - Internet portal stocks started

biz.yahoo.com

NEW YORK, Feb 12 (Reuters) - ING Baring Furman Selz analyst David Levy started coverage of four Internet portal stocks Friday, rating Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO - news) and Excite Inc. (Nasdaq:XCIT - news) buys.

-- In a report, Levy rated Lycos Inc. (Nasdaq:LCOS - news) and Infoseek Corp. (Nasdaq:SEEK - news) holds.

-- Levy set a 1999 price target of $200 a share for Yahoo! The company's shares were off six at 152-1/2 Friday.

-- ''While we recognize Yahoo!'s lofty valuation, we believe that the company will continue to lead the group by almost any measure including viewership, revenue and profitability.''

-- Excite's price target is $140. The shares were off 4-1/4 at 101.

-- The company ''has developed one of the most impressive portal sites by bundling content with search results so that users are provided not just a search engine, but a complete World Wide Web destination.''

-- Levy said he valued existing Lycos shares by estimating the total value of the company to be created by the merger of Lycos and USA Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:USAI - news).

-- Lycos shares were ''appropriately valued'' at $94 each. The shares were up 1-3/4 at 105.

-- Infoseek's price target was set at $62. Levy said Infoseek's operating margins should be hurt by the costs associated with operating the Starwave joint venture and marketing spending required by its strategic partnership with Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS - news).

-- Infoseek's stock was off 1-9/16 at 64.

LA, I agree entirely and bought back lots of MXNT around 2 1/4 today -- should have started accumulating again during its brief dip to 1 3/4 this week. The impressive nature of MXNT's portal site and other business, plus the fact that they are able and willing to compose very well-written press releases frequently, dispose any doubt in my mind about the future success of this company.
