I'm not spinning. It is what it is.

What's more interesting to me is whether this back door problem is universal among all types of PC-based biometric guards, or only peculiar to some forms or applications -- such as Saftylatch. Because if the problem is universal, then we aren't progressing as far as we'd like in solving security problems.

Actually if there is the backdoor possiblility of having this disk, then it is hackable.

In which case having the backdoor could be a security risk

I also think it gives buyers the comfort level to purchase the product. Takes care of that tiny bit of doubt about it not working all the time.
