William, what sort of ISP had you been using in the past? I'm on a LAN and wouldn't trade it for the world. Don't know if I'll ever live in a non-networked building again. I'd absolutely have to have a cable modem if I still lived in the suburbs. Internet efficiency is becoming way too important to me (and most everyone else). Whenever I want to find something out, the first place I always come to is the web. Before you know it, I'll be listening to my business lectures (after having already downloaded the day's notes) straight from the comfort and privacy of my bedroom. The application for such extended learning would probably include some sort of chat function to encourage interactive discussion. Needless to say... very pleased with growing up in this era and looking forward to the years ahead.
