-g- .... yeah, they say when you lose a faculty like for instance vision, you gain more acuity of sense in others such as hearing and smell. Maybe it works the other way as well - when you gain an ability, for instance the development of a written language, you lose others ... they become redundant, unnecessary. ..... I know for sure that after two years now with a computer, i remember very little detail even about my own trades two weeks ago - i don't need to remember and make no effort to do so - i just need to know how to look it up quickly. But I still remember some specific trades from the 80s, when i used to check the paper once a week. Win some, lose some - we're an adaptable, flexible species.
