New CITA Treatment Center Opens in New Jersey
PR Newswire - February 16, 1999 06:16

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- CITA BIOMEDICAL INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: DTOX) announced today that its proprietary CITA/UROD treatment program is now operational on the premises of Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, New Jersey. The new center is within easy reach of nearby New York City.

The unique CITA/UROD procedure has successfully treated over 5,000 patients throughout Europe and the Middle East, and more than 700 in the U.S., where the procedure is performed by CITA-certified anesthesiologists in a CITA-authorized hospital while the patient is asleep under anesthesia. Most patients require no more than a 24-hour hospital stay.

Two recent studies have indicated that the CITA/UROD program produces outstanding results for its clients. The first-ever long-term study was released last summer. It concluded that 55% of addicted persons treated with the CITA/UROD procedure in 1996 were relapse-free after six months, compared to only 10-20% of those who were treated by traditional methods. A second study examining the CITA/UROD program in 1998 reported success rates approaching 70% for patients evaluated six months after treatment, reflecting an ongoing commitment by the company to enhance the effectiveness of its services.

CITA Biomedical Inc. now has three treatment centers offering its programs. The other locations include the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Frank,

Did you notice that Yahoo failed to pick up the news release!

Also I have been unable to open the web site listed in the news release.

I wonder if the company is aware of these problems?
