Do you remember reading an important e-mail message, but you forget which of your 3,000-plus e-mails it was? Whew!, new
from WordCruncher Publishing Technologies (801-756-8833, www.wordcruncher.com), is a $9.95 e-mail search utility that
may help. You can search for single words, word lists, exact or partial phrases, and word combinations. It also supports
proximity and fielded searches. When the search term is located, the program provides a Reference List that shows a
paragraph from the message with the search term(s) highlighted. Whew! automatically creates and maintains a searchable index
containing every e-mail message on your machine. The program supports Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and Internet Mail;
Netscape Mail 3.0 and 4.0; Eudora 4.0; and cc:Mail Version 8.0 (using Windows Messaging).
